Faux Leather Week Schedule
Here’s a peek at our project schedule so you’ll know exactly what fun is ahead! Each project is beginner-friendly and totally doable — but with enough creative twists to keep even experienced crafters inspired.
Day 1 - September 13
KICKOFF & MATERIALS PREP
We’ll start the week together! I’ll walk you through all the materials and tools you’ll need, plus my favorite tips for setting yourself up for faux leather success. You’ll feel ready and excited for what’s ahead!
Day 2 - September 14
LAYERED FALL LEAF KEYCHAIN
We’ll start simple! I’ll show you how to cut the faux leather cleanly with your Cricut and layer them for a pretty fall look. Then we'll finish the piece with simple rivet hardware (or glue).
Day 3 - September 15
PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE CHAPSTICK HOLDER
We'll make a PSL keychain that keeps your favorite lip balm handy and comes together with just glue and layered HTV. It’s fun & functional!
Day 4 - September 16
WRISTLET WITH PUMPKIN CHARM
Next up, we’ll combine faux leather and heat transfer vinyl to create a cute pumpkin charm attached to a wristlet. We’ll use clamp hardware (don’t worry, no fancy tools — just pliers!) for a polished finish.
Day 5 - September 17
WRAP UP & CELEBRATION
We’ll wrap up the week by celebrating your finished projects, sharing inspiration, and chatting about your next steps in faux leather crafting. It’s the perfect send-off to keep your creativity flowing!

What time are the classes?
The daily classes are recorded and will be available to watch at 9:00am ET each morning from Saturday, September 13th - Wednesday, September 17th. The classes will be available to rewatch at anytime during Faux Leather Week until Sunday, September 21st at 11:59pm ET when they will expire.
What Cricut machine & blade do I need to cut the faux leather projects?
You can cut faux leather with any of the current Cricut machines: the Cricut Maker 4, Maker 3, the Cricut Maker, the Explore Air 2, Explore 3 or Explore 4. You can also cut faux leather with the Cricut Joy and the Cricut Joy Xtra. You'll cut faux leather with the standard fine point blade that comes with all of these machines.
What supplies do I need?
Besides a Cricut and basic Cricut crafting supplies, you'll also need faux leather and some other keychain supplies. You'll receive a list with links of all the supplies we will use during Faux Leather Week via email immediately after you register.
Will the classes be on YouTube?
No. The daily classes will be sent each morning via email and can be watched from a dedicated page. The Q&A sessions take place in our pop-up Facebook group just for Faux Leather Week attendees.
